Traditional oxidative hair colouring systems that you find in mainstream hair salons contain many harmful and dangerous chemicals such as carcinogen’s, hormone disrupters, and neurotoxins.

Unlike these colours, direct dyes use a completely developed colour molecule which doesn’t require activation by a secondary chemical such as hydrogen peroxide or other harmful activators to open the hair shaft and deposit the dyes into the hair. Instead the already developed colour molecule grabs onto the hair using electromagnetic charges. The colour attaches mainly to the outer layer of the hair cuticle creating intense, vibrant long lasting results.

Colouring exclusively with direct dyes means your hair is left in its most natural state with no disruption to the hair cortex (inner layer of the hair) this makes for the most healthy in tact hair you’ll ever experience.
